Aiden Simko hit the "invisible" red carpet at the 1st annual UCLA IoES Event where he talked to Jared Leto about using vegetable oil to fuel his tour bus. "We did that many, many times," said Jared, "You have to be a little bit more gentle than just dumping the waste vegetable oil in there, because you don't want French fries or chicken wings or anything bouncing around in your bus….There's a lot that you can do and we're always trying to do our best because we travel quite a bit and travel is a big culprit."
We also caught up with Glen MacDonald, who chatted about how exciting it is to see so many people across the state get into the project, and producer Lawrence Bender, who is on the board of IoES at UCLA, about making the film An Inconvenient Truth.
Jerry Penacoli talked about how much he respects Lawrence Bender and how important the work IoES does is, and Devon Aoki shared some of her ideas for simple things people can do to make a real difference. Former California Governor Gray Davis discussed signing the first bill in America regarding greenhouse gases and how vital it is to protect the environment.
