Lauryn Hill recently announced she is pregnant with her sixth child. The father was presumably Rohan Marley, who is reportedly Hill’s long-time boyfriend and father to her other five children. However, once Hip Hop Wired tweeted a link to their story announcing Hill’s pregnancy, Marley hit his own Twitter account, posting, “2 things, I’m not married and I don’t have anyone expecting anything.”
The Rohan Marley twitter account is verified, so we know it’s really him, but as far as the baby not being his, a Clutch magazine writer engaged in further conversation, asking, “So we are clear: 1)you’re not married to your ex-wife or Lauryn, and 2) she isn’t preggo w/ your child, but someone else’s?”
Marley’s response was a bit vague – “That is correct until I say out of my mouth to the contrary.”
Marley also tweeted, “Trust me, the info out there is so incorrect for so many years,” which seemingly suggests that he either isn’t or hasn’t been Hill’s boyfriend for a long time or never was, and/or that he isn’t the father of all or any of her children. Drama!
Hill has five children, 3 sons (Zion, Joshua and John), and two daughters (Sarah and Selah).
