Lisa Kudrow will forever be recognized as the hysterically ditzy Phoebe Buffay from Friends, but she definitely has more to bring to the table than some silly remarks and songs about smelly cats. She's not just an award-winning actress, but also a writer and a director. She chatted with StarCam's Jennifer Tapiero at the Writers Guild Awards about just how important the writing aspect of things is and how crucial the writers were to Friends.

"For written shows, it's really important. I know on Friends, that was a tricky show to write and I don't know how often those writers got acknowledged," she said. "…It was a really hard show to write and it was very funny too, so that's not easy."

Lisa is taking a bit of a different approach to her current project, Web Therapy. Rather than writing a script for actors to learn and recite, the characters are outlined and the story arc is developed, but everything else is improvised! She also had a special guest on the show recently, former co-star David Schwimmer!
