At this point, Lindsay Lohan should just resign from showbiz and find a new career, since she can't seem to hold a job and it appears she doesn't really want to. In the latest news, she's been flaking on her commitment to the horror-movie spoof, Scary Movie 5. Apparently, the script pokes fun at her, and she's obviously not happy about that.
Lohan has reportedly missed every meeting she was supposed to attend for the movie, as well as script reads and wardrobe meetings, and only showed up when she was threatened with a lawsuit and a private jet was sent to pick her up.
She was hired on for a cameo role opposite Charlie Sheen, but apparently decided she didn't want to do it becuase she thought her scene made too much fun of her.
A source says, "It went pretty hard at Lindsay. She'd been freaking out about it for weeks."
Lohan's scene supposedly also featured a kiss between her and Sheen, so we have to venture that maybe it wasn't the jokes she was freaking out over, but having to kiss, blech, Charlie Sheen.
But Lohan's under contract, so missing all the work meant she had to prove she had a good reason to.
"She tried to prove she has walking pneumonia," the source said.
Another source said, "She's been locked up in her room at the Bowery Hotel. She's been in a tailspin. Even Charlie Sheen is worried she might not be able to do the scene."
OUCH. When Charlie Sheen thinks you're a mess, you're really, really a mess.
But a rep for Lohan defends the actress, saying, "These stories are untrue, and she is willingly fulfilling all of her obligations."
Interestingly, though, Dimension, the company behind the film, had no comment.
