Justin Bieber is bringing new meaning to the phrase "Bieber Fever" this weekend, by throwing up not once but twice during a concert in Glendale, Arizona. It was the first night of his "Believe" tour, and he was unfortunately not feeling well prior to the show, but charged on and performed instead of cancelling the show. Much to his embarrassment, though, he got sick twice onstage during two songs.
The first time he vomited was during the song "Out of Town Girl," and during a dance interlude, the Biebs turned around suddenly and vomited onstage while the dancers continued their routine. The DJ and dancers finished the song, and when Bieber returned to the stage, he told the audience, "I'm sorry, I'm going to slow things down," and played an acoustic number.
Unfortunately, that slow-down wasn't enough of a break, and during his duet with Nicki Minaj (she appeared via a pre-recorded video), he ran off stage again.
But his fans couldn't care less—he returned the second time and told them, "It's hard for me, you know, not feeling great and throwing up in front of a bunch of people," then asked, "Will you love me even though I'm throwing up on stage?" The Beliebers in the crowd, all several thousand of them, cheered and screamed as though they didn't just witness their celebrity crush lose his lunch.
He's got a long road ahead, as he's got more than 70 shows left on this tour. He took it all in stride, though, tweeting to his 28 million-plus followers, "Milk was a bad choice"—a quote from the movie Anchorman.
