Joel McHale is keeping busy these days, starring in the show Community on NBC and then hosting The Soup on the E! Entertainment network. Jennifer Tapiero chatted with him at the Writers Guild Awards and discovered how he's able to balance both shows.

"I just do a lot of speed in the morning and a lot of red wine at night," McHale humorously said.

Jen was also curious who his favorite Jersey Shore cast member is, and without hesitation, he replies, "Snooki, as always, forever, and will ever be."

When Jen mentioned Snooki's recent weight loss and her not being a meatball anymore, McHale said, "Wow, called her a meatball, okay, like a linguini." Then he threatened to tell the Italian-American community what she said! That crazy Joel McHale, always joking around!
