Jason Lee grew up with Danny Way. They used to skate together when they were kids. StarCam’s Jennifer Tapiero spoke to Jason on the red carpet at the premiere of Danny’s documentary Waiting for Lightning and found out what has changed since the pro skateboarder became such a success!
Jason said he can’t even begin to fathom some of the tricks that Danny attempts these days. Though the two used to skate together years ago, Jason is definitely way more intimidated by him now. He said that the only real thing that has changed about him is that he’s bigger…and scarier…and ballsier!
Jason just finished filming Season 1 of the TV series Up All Night and is just relaxing and skating right now. He’s hoping to go back to film a second season on a show he described as a lot of fun!
