StarCam was at the Art Director's Guild Awards where we talked to James Cromwell about how there were no table reads for The Artist and how they presented the concept to him without a script. He also talks about realizing that he story isn't told by the words so much as your body language and how every element in the frame becomes absolutely vital to telling the story.
