Former governor of California, Gray Davis was spotted on the red carpet of the UCLA IoES Event. He stopped to talk to StarCam’s Aiden Simko about the environmental bills he passed, and what he does to reduce his carbon footprint.

“As governor, I was honored to sign the first bill in America banning greenhouse gasses, and in my last year I signed every environmental that was presented to me,” he stated. He went on to tell Aiden about how important the UCLA IoES is. “This institute is the path to the future. It shows people how they can lighten their footprint, live more lightly on the planet, and live more sensibly.”

Aiden asked him what his green contribution in everyday life is. He said “my green thing is that I only drive about three miles per day, so my carbon footprint is pretty low.”
