18-year-olds get bad tattoos every day, which makes 23-year-old Breezy's new neck tattoo even worse—he's got no excuse. Chris Brown unveiled a sick new tat today, one that looks to be of a battered woman's face. And he's already caused quite the stir over it, with critics claiming the face looks like Rihanna, post-beating.
The image has a black eye, scratches and bruises on her face, and stitches on her lips. It bears startling resemblance to Rihanna, whom Brown assaulted in 2009.
But, not so, says his rep. The pictured woman is "not Rihanna." It's actually far funnier, worse, and terrible than being a likeness of his ex (they are still exes, right?)—it's a design Brown saw on a cosmetics template. I'll let you all drink that one in for a second before I continue.
Brown's tattoo is "a sugar skull, associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead, and a MAC cosmetics design he saw. It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported," the rep said.
According to Brown's tattoo artist, the singer brought in the design from a MAC ad he had seen. The artist clearly took some liberties with the ink, as it looks nearly nothing like the ad. And really, Chris? A face chart? You got a face chart tattooed on your neck.
One thing's for sure, though: that ugly thing will be there "Forever."
