Grammy-award winner and consistent controversy-cause Chris Brown recently hosted and played in a charity basketball game. The game took place last Sunday in Atlanta, Georgia, with proceeds from the event donated to the Symphonic Love Foundation, which supports domestic violence prevention programs. Yes, you read that right.

The event was sponsored by Jordan, and Brown was on a team that included Nelly, Waka Flocka Flame, Shawty Lo, Terrence K, Kirko Bangz, and Memphitz. They wore matching shirts from Brown's clothing line, Black Pyramid, as they played against an Atlanta radio station, Hot 107.9.

Other artists like Sean Kingston and Roscoe Dash showed their support for the team and the charity from the stands, and the game ultimately ended with a tying score of 75-75.

Waka Flocka Flame said of the game, "It's important to give back. You can't do it for credit or publicity, you have to do it from the heart," while Brown tweeted, "Thank you so much to all the supporters who came and showed love at my charity basketball event. @hot1079atl kicked AZZ! Real family."

Brown's Symphonic Love Foundation launches later this month, and Team Breezy fans should sign up for updates at symphoniclovefoundation.org.
