Julianne Moore won an Emmy award for her role as former Alaska Governor/former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, but not everyone thinks Moore's performance was all that great—namely, Bristol Palin, Sarah's daughter.
"I don't think she's a good interpreter of my mom. I think my mom's way hotter than that," Bristol told Us Weekly earlier this week.
Moore acted as the elder Palin woman in the made-for-TV movie that aired on HBO, Game Change. Her costars included Woody Harrelson and Ed Harris, but Moore knew that the Palins weren't thrilled with her portrayal, saying, "Wow. I feel so validated because Sarah Palin gave me a big thumbs down," in her Emmy acceptance speech.
Bristol continued, "She [Sarah Palin] doesn't have that accent. It's all kind of silly. My mom's awesome."
The film also took home awards for Best Overall Miniseries/TV movie, Best Directing, and Best Writing—so we'd have to say that Bristol is in the minority with her dislike of the film.
Bristol, on the other hand, is making a name for herself, appearing again on Dancing With the Stars, this time with an even thinner body than the last time she was on the show. Her secret to looking so good? She says, "Just doing some cardio and cutting the crap out of my diet."
What did you think of Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin? Can anyone top Tina Fey's impression of the politician?
