Ayelet Zurer stopped to chat with StarCam’s Jennifer Tapiero on the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie, Darling Companion. She shared some inside information about the significance of her role in the movie and what the audience could expect from the movie.
“Well, some of the characters in the movie are set in one way and I think my character is a person who feels how people are feeling and she has a lot of compassion for human beings, maybe a little more than usual,” she explained. “…She feels what’s missing and she wants to shake it off and help them find what they’re looking for, which is companionship.”
On the red carpet, Jen heard a lot of things about the movie from an emotional standpoint, so she wanted to find out from someone who would know what to expect. Ayelet cleared up the debate saying that some roles were more moving than others and that the actor with one of the most emotional roles has been an idol of hers for her entire life!
“For me, it’s not very emotional. It was just fun, but I think Diane Keaton’s part was more emotional and…it was just fabulous to watch her,” she said. “She’s been my idol for years. I loved everything she’s done...To see her live actually pulling it off, it’s an experience…It’s more than nice, she’s just a fabulous actress.”
