Angel Burns, executive producer of Opening Our Eyes, talks with StarCam at the LA Film Festival about why she became so inspired to become a part of the social change documentary.

"One thing that got me is there's a 19-year-old girl from New Jersey named Maggie," she begins. "She took a gap year from college and she went to Nepal, took in a couple street kids and asked her mom to send her babysitting money, which was just a couple thousand dollars. Long story short, she's been on the cover of the New York Times, she's won an award by a magazine $100,000, she's started an orphanage in a school for 350 kids, and she just turned 24."
