Hollywood power couple Will Arnett and Amy Poehler have announced they are separating after being married for nine years. Their publicist confirmed the news to ABC yesterday. The pair have two children together, sons Archie, 3, and Abel, 2. They have appeared together in a number of projects, both on television and on the big screen. So basically, true love doesn't exist, guys.

What makes this sadder than most Hollywood breakups is how painfully adorable this couple is together. They've appeared together in Arrested Development, Blades of Glory, Monsters vs. Aliens, and in 2010 Arnett guest starred on Poehler's comedy Parks and Recreation.

This was the first marriage for Poehler, 40, and the second for Arnett, whose first marriage was to Penelope Ann Miller in 1994, but they divorced a year later.

Poehler is currently nominated for Emmys for best lead actress in a comedy and best writing, while Arnett is nominated for best guest actor in a comedy for playing Devon Banks on 30 Rock.

Speculators say that the power-grab in the couple may have led to the split, with Poehler starring in her own comedy while Arnett banks on guest roles and a reboot of his most successful role in Arrested Development.

While we hope that's not the case, we can see how that would put stress on a couple who works in the same industry. But still, true love officially doesn't exist. We can all go home now. Have a good weekend. We'll be over here crying.
