Adele is hitting a high note lately—the British singer recently released her latest single "Skyfall" for the James Bond movie of the same name, and this weekend, she gave birth to a baby boy. She and boyfriend Simon Konecki welcomed the little guy on Friday night, according to People magazine.
Adele and Konecki started dating last year, and announced this June that they were expecting. The 24-year-old singer wrote on her blog, "I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time."
The pair aren't married, which as been a source of controversy—Adele has refuted rumors that she and Konecki were engaged, tweeting, "I'm not married," and sources have been commenting that perhaps having a baby together will have wedding bells ringing.
This is Konecki's second child—he has a five-year-old daughter with his ex-wife, Clary Fisher. This is Adele's first child. No word on what they named their son, yet, but we're eagerly awaiting to hear.
