Most of the hot art artists of 1992 are still alive and kicking, though they’re not as popular as they once were. Here’s what they’re up to:
Sir-Mix-A-Lot released a new song, "Carz," in 2010 and is reportedly working on album called Dun 4got About Mix.
Madonna released MDNA last March and is on tour to promote the new album.
John Secada will release a new single, “I’m Never Too Far Away,” later this month.
Boyz II Men received a Hollywood Star in January, and released their last album, Twenty, in 2011.
TLC’s Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes was killed in a car accident in 2002, though the group may bring her back in holograph form for future concerts.
Billy Ray Cyrus starred in Hannah Montana with his far more famous daughter, Miley Cyrus.
The estranged Guns N Roses were inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April, and Slash received a Hollywood Star last month.

Nelly is working on his seventh album, M.O., which is slated for release later his year.
Avril Lavigne released an album, Goodbye Lullaby, in March 2011 and is reportedly working on another with Nickelback front man Chad Kroeger. Nickelback is currently on their Here and Now tour.
P. Diddy, aka Sean Combs, is now worth an estimated $500 million, making him the richest person in hip hop.
Mario has released four albums since 2002, and is reportedly working on a fifth, Restoration.
Eve is also working on an album, though the project has been repeatedly delayed. Alicia Keys, meanwhile, has released three albums since 2002.

The top movies in August 1992, meaning those that cracked the top five, include Unforgiven, Death Becomes Her, Rising Cain, 3 Ninjas, A League of Their Own, Single White Female, Stay Tuned, Rapid Fire, Christopher Columbus: The Discovery, Honeymoon in Vegas, and Pet Sematary II.
