Universal Studios has created dozens of terrifying scenes for its annual fright fest known as Halloween Horror Nights (HHN). However, this year visitors will get to explore the creepy world of Silent Hill, the demented town featured in the popular video game and horror movie franchise by the same name.

"This is our first partnership with a video game property and we are very excited to create an unparalleled, all-new level of horror for our guests," Jim Timon, senior vice president of entertainment at Universal Orlando Resort, said in a statement. "We can't wait to watch our guests actually walk into the hell that is Silent Hill."

A number of Silent Hill’s terrifying residents will torment guests at HHN, including the deformed nurses, the executioner, knife-wielding maniacs, and more. Both Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood will feature the Silent Hill theme.

Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, the second film in the Silent Hill franchise, hits theaters October 26. Starring Sean Bean, Deborah Kara Unger, Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, and Carrie-Ann Moss, Silent Hill: Revelation is the tale of teen girl who is drawn into an alternate dimension within the town of Silent Hill.

“We are thrilled to be working with our friends at Universal to bring the horror of Silent Hill to this next level of reality,” said film producer Samuel Hadida. “For newcomers and long time followers alike, there could be no better introduction to the terror that will await them in theatres on October 26.”

Halloween Horror Nights runs September 21 to October 31.
