
Good news for those of us who crave guilty pleasure TV: HBO has just announced that its sexy hit vampire drama True Blood will be back for season six next summer.
Viewers will have at least one more season to puzzle out the Sookie/Eric/Bill/Alcide love-rhombus(?) and take in the intrigues of the shadowy Vampire Authority while Jason remains adorably dumb and Lafayette stays fabulous. Showrunner Alan Ball will hand the reins to Mark Hudis, whose previous credits include Nurse Jackie and That 70s Show.
