Rachel Bilson is typically known for her role as Summer on The O.C., but after the series finale, she fell off the map. That is... until now.

Bilson is Dr. Zoe Hart in a new series on the CW Hart of Dixie. Hart graduates at the top of her class in medical school, but things don’t exactly go according to plan after that, sending this Manhattan miss to Bluebell, Ala.

The shock of going from a dream of being a cardio-thoracic surgeon to inheriting a small-town practice is just the beginning. Adjusting to a completely different way of life and the town full of people who want nothing more than to see Hart leave will be the real challenge.

Bilson is great in this role and after several years without her stealing the spotlight, I think it’s safe to say America missed her.

“…Bilson sparkles when she’s rattling off one-liners such as ‘He’s one avocado short of a cobb salad’ and ‘[My dreams] certainly won’t be killed by a southern xenophobe dressed up like a stick of butter,’” said an Entertainment Weekly review.

This new show is full of drama, comedy, and outright fantastic fashion!

Tune in on Monday nights at 9 p.m. to the CW to check out Bilson in Hart of Dixie for yourself.
