A new romantic comedy, Bent, is kicking off on NBC tonight at 9 p.m. starring David Walton as a womanizing, surfer-dude contractor and his relationship with his Type-A client played by Amanda Peet.

Alex (Amanda Peet) is a lawyer and single mom raising her 10-year-old daughter after a recent divorce, which came after her husband’s arrest for insider trading. She’s high-strung and just a tough cookie in general. Pete (David Walton) is incredibly different from Alex’s clean-cut persona. He’s a gambling addict who happens to have quite a way with the ladies. He takes a job with Alex and desperately needs to succeed and prove he doesn’t mess everything up.

Unfortunately for Alex, she finds herself drawn toward Pete despite all of his shortcomings and traits that are more Type-F than Type-A. Something about the fact that he’s everything she isn’t attracted to makes him oddly appealing to her.

The show premieres tonight at 9 p.m. on NBC and will air again at 9:30 p.m. if you miss it the first time. Are you excited to see Amanda Peet starring in a series again or is it her handsome co-star David Walton that you’re more pumped about? Check out the trailer and let us know your thoughts!
