The 38th season of Saturday Night Live will bring a lot of changes. A handful of high profile regulars have left the cast to work on other projects. And now, SNL has announced three comedians who will be joining the show as featured players. All three have links to Chicago’s renowned improv group The Second City.
Cecily Strong was a member of the touring company of The Second City and an understudy for both E.T.C. and the main stage.
Aidy Bryant is a former ensemble member on The Second City’s E.T.C. stage.
Tim Robinson has toured with The Second City and appeared on its main Chicago stage.
The 38th season of SNL premieres this Saturday, with Seth MacFarlane hosting and Frank Ocean as their musical guest.
