127 Hours
James Franco stars in this gripping film about a mountain climber who is forced to amputate his own after becoming trapped by a boulder. Based on the real-life experience of climber Aron Ralston, 127 Hours was nominated for six Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and eight British Academy Film Awards. 127 Hours debuted November 5, 2010. Burlesque
Starring Christina Aguilera and Cher, Burlesque is a musical film about a young woman who moves to L.A. to pursue a singing career and the burlesque bar that helps the aspiring singer achieve her dreams. Eric Dane, Cam Gigandet, Julianne Hough, Alan Cumming, Peter Gallagher, Kristen Bell, and Stanley Tucci also star in this Golden Globe award-winning movie. Burlesque originally hit theaters November 24, 2010.
Faster
Faster, an action film about a newly-released prisoner intent on avenging the death of his brother, stars Dwayne Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton, Carla Gugino, Moon Bloodgood, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Maggie Grace. Love and Other Drugs
Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway star in this light-hearted comedy film based on the book Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman by Jamie Reidy. Both Gyllenhaal and Hathaway received Best Actor/Actress nominations at the Golden Globe and Satellite Awards, with Hathaway winning Best Actress at the 2010 Satellite Awards. Josh Gad and Hank Azaria also star in Love and Other Drugs which first hit theaters on November 24.
