So, Lindsay Lohan has been arrested for clipping a pedestrian again, this time just hours after complaining on Twitter that a Nickelodean performer had not been arrested for her misbehavior. This comes just months after Lohan’s last accident, where the car she was traveling in rear-ended a dumptruck. Lohan has also had legal altercations in the past that range from removing a necklace from a jewelry store without permission, DUIs, and assorted professional flaking. She is, of course, not the only troubled celebrity out there. Here are five more misbehaving Hollywood stars:
Amanda Bynes – Bynes, of course, was the celebrity that LiLo tweeted about. Recently, she’s had a number of problems behind the wheel. She was involved in two separate hit-and-run incidents, and also has pending DUI charges. And, just recently, she’s been caught driving with a suspended license. Perhaps hiring a driver would be a better idea until she gets everything settled.
Paris Hilton – Hilton's first bit of stardom came from a leaked sex tape, so, it’s perhaps unsurprising that she remains near the top of the celebrities behaving badly list. Hilton had a couple DUIs of her own, and was most recently arrested for possession of cocaine in 2010. Sources say that she’s concentrating on her career and staying out of trouble since her last arrest.
Snoop Dogg (currently known as Snoop Lion) – Snoop’s rap sheet is as long as his discography. Prior trouble includes various drug charges with a handful of weapons and assault charges stemming from various altercations with fans and foes. One of the most notable bits of misbehavior got Snooped blocked from visiting the UK for several years. In Heathrom Airport, a fight broke out when Snoop and his 30 person entourage were blocked from an airport’s business lounge because some of them were flying economy. Seven police officers were injured.
Naomi Campbell – Campbell has a long and storied history of flinging things at various people, as well as incidents of hitting and scratching. She’s thrown cell phones at housekeepers (two different ones have filed assault charges), scratched her both her assistant and her drug counselor, and is banned from British Airlines for life for spitting on Heathrow Airport personnel. Campbell seems to have a sense of humor about her tempestuous reputation. In 2008, she made a Dunkin Donuts commercial that depicted her throwing her shoe after breking the stiletto heel in the garden.
Charlie Sheen – after years of bad boy behavior, Charlie Sheen finally went nuclear last year. In a series of escalating incidents, Sheen had altercations with girlfriends, exes, and the producer of his hit TV show “Two and a Half Men.” Eventually, Sheen quit/was fired for his erratic behavior. He took to Twitter and the interview circuit, making disjointed comments about tiger blood, Adonis DNA and winning! The madness peaked with his “Violent Torpedo of Truth” spoken word tour, which was panned as disorganized and dull. Sheen pulled his act together recently and now appears on the FX series Anger Management.
