Putting a TV show together is no easy task. All too often the celebrities get all of the credit and the people in charge of the behind the scenes aspects are merely forgotten. Recently, StarCam caught up with one of Glee’s big stars at the Art Director’s Guild Awards where he told us just how rough the show would be without those people!

Kevin McHale is known very well for his role as Artie Abrams on the hit musical series, but he definitely doesn’t credit himself or the rest of the cast for the show’s success since its inception three years ago. He understands that it takes everyone there to make the show possible, which was the main reason he was out showing his support at the awards show.

“I don’t think people give them enough credit,” he said. “Our show, we have huge productions every single week, and none of that would be possible without our incredible art director…building the sets and performances. I mean, we could show up and do the dances and sing the songs, and they could write it and have an amazing story, but…these people are a vital part of any production. It’s nice to be able to come here and show support.”

Kevin described working on the set of Glee to creating several music videos every week! That’s a ton of work! Check out the full interview below for more exclusive details about what it’s like to be a part of the show!
