Special blog post by StarCam reporter Jennifer Tapiero.
This week I had a exclusive phone interview with T.I's little brother, Bryce Harris. This 19-year-old up-and-coming actor/rapper chatted me up for an hour on the phone. What a sweetheart and ladies man! We talked about what it is like being related to a famous rapper, having his very own recording studio in his mansion, and the ideal acting role he would love to play.
Jennifer Tapiero: What's up? It’s about time we did this interview, The last time I saw you was at the official Takers after party that your brother T.I and the cast were at, How are you?
Bryce Harris: I'm just chilling, ya know working on this mix tape.
JT: Congratulations. I'm excited to hear it.
BH: You can check out a sneak peak on Datpiff.com.
JT: So, before recording a track, what's your technique to get it all together? What's the best time to record?
BH: Right after a fun night out here in Atlanta or right after the club. I just go right into the studio in my house and let it all out.
JT: You have a recording studio in your house?
BH: Yes it’s in the mansion that T.I. gave me out here in Atlanta. I'm holding down this place until he gets out.
JT: You said the best time to record is when you get home from a party or back from the club, what’s your signature dance move? Do you Dougie?
BH: Hell no. I don't dance. But you bet I can rap though.
JT: How has music helped you in your life?
BH: I am an emotional person it just helps to get emotions out. I think that's why I have such a wide range as an actor.
JT: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
BH: Established, lots of concerts and shows, award shows, and working as a actor.

JT: What's your ideal acting role?
BH: Anything from Disney to a Gangster type of role. Maybe something like Get Rich or Die Trying.
JT: Looks like you weren't the only son that got bit by the entertainment bug. Who inspires you as a actor?
BH: Denzel Washington or Will Smith, I would love be like them.
JT: What was the last movie you saw?
BH: Little Fockers, I thought it was pretty funny. I would love to be in a movie like that.
JT: What was the best piece of advice your brother T.I. gave you?
BH: "No matter what you do, do it to the max! Don't half ass anything little bro."
JT: Have you seen him?
BH: Nah, He doesn't want the family to visit him. We talk on the phone though. He always just tells me to keep my head up and focus.
JT: What's your favorite memory with your brother?
BH: Just being in the studio with him. And this one time when he was in the studio with Pharell recording the track "Amazing".
JT: What gadget could you not live without?
BH: My Blackberry. I'm always on twitter. Follow me! @GFMBryce
