Yesterday, some of the biggest names in movies and television gathered for the 23rd Annual “A Time for Heroes” Celebrity Picnic supporting The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Gwen Stefani, Sharon Stone, Shailene Woodley, and Yvette Nicole Brown were among a few of the celebs on hand to raise awareness and funds for the Foundation’s efforts.
“More than 1,000 Angelenos joined some of Hollywood’s hottest stars playing old-fashioned carnival games, getting creative with arts and crafts, dancing to great music, and enjoying unbelievable food from LA’s best eateries,” reads a release about the event.
Singer Ingrid Michaelson also performed at the star-studded picnic, signing "The Way I Am" and "Be OK," as well as her newest single "Blood Brothers."
Other celebrity guests included Carmen Electra, Tom Arnold, Daisy Fuentes (pictured above), Mechad Brooks, Matt Leinart, Mason Cook, Kimberly Stewart, Drake Bell, and many others.
Since its creation in 1989, “A Time for Heroes” has raised more than $33 million to fund pediatric HIV/AIDS research and the Foundation’s international medical programs to prevent new HIV infections in babies and to keep HIV-positive mothers and children healthy with lifesaving treatment.
