
With their new single "Live My Life" hitting the top of charts worldwide, Far East Movement announce a May 8th release date for their sophomore album Dirty Bass on Cherrytree/Interscope Records. Within the first week of its release, "Live My Life" has already hit #2 on U.S. iTunes, #1 in 5 countries (Canada, Mexico, Norway, Finland and Peru) and is a Top 10 song in eighteen countries around the world.
Far East Movement are currently overseas with The Cherrytree Pop Alternative Tour and will shoot the "Live My Life" music video today in Amsterdam. This will mark the directorial debut for LMFAO's Redfoo who will transform the video into a Party Rock Production. The video will feature a mash-up of the original "Life My Life" featuring Justin Bieber and will flip to a remix with a new verse from Redfoo.
"The 'Live My Life' Party Rock music video is going to be bananas. It's definitely a party you won't want to miss. We'll be getting it out soon along with more exciting news on Dirty Bass," promises Kev Nish.
Far East Movement will bring the Cherrytree Pop Alternative Tour to the states kicking off May 22nd in Columbus, Ohio. In the meantime, fans can check out another Far East Movement club hit "Candy" with Pitbull in the new film Project X in theatres now.
Dirty Bass will feature a dynamic universal party sound that delivers elements of booming trunk bass music to the dance floor. Far East Movement shaped and co-produced the album's sound with The Stereotypes and assists from producers RedOne, Sidney Sampson, and Martin "Cherry Cherry Boom Boom" Kierszenbaum.
