It seems as though no one can get enough of the Kardashians – especially not E! television. Yet another spinoff series has been ordered, the network confirmed today. A new reality show starring Khloe Kardashian and her husband, Lamar Odom, will start shooting early this year.
The series has been rumored for months but hasn’t been confirmed until now. E! Entertainment Television has ordered eight episodes of the tentatively-titled Khloe & Lamar from Ryan Seacrest Productions and Bunim-Murray Productions.
The show will revolve around not only the couple, who married in 2009, but also Kardashian’s brother Robert, who is staying in their home and embarking on a music career. Cameras will also follow Odom as he hits the road with his Los Angeles Laker teammates.
This series marks the third spinoff of E!’s successful venture Keeping Up With the Kardashians franchise, following Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami and Kourtney & Kim Take New York – that show will debut January 23.
“Khloe and Lamar are such a dynamic couple that we just knew we had to give them their own series,” said Lisa Berger, E! executive vice president of entertainment programming.
