As the majority of this week’s buzz has centered on The Sundance Film Festival and Academy Award nominees, fans may have momentarily forgotten about the 17th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) taking place this Sunday. Like the Golden Globe Awards and the upcoming Oscars, the SAG Awards draw some of the biggest names in Hollywood.

Presenters at this year’s star-studded SAG event include Jason Bateman, Jon Hamm, Nicole Kidman, Jeremy Renner, Sofia Vergara, Robin Wright, Scott Bakula, Alec Baldwin, Jeff Bridges, Tim Conway, Rosario Dawson, Josh Duhamel, Angie Harmon, Eva Longoria, Cory Monteith, Amy Poehler, Hilary Swank, Betty White, and SAG President Ken Howard (whew).

Many SAG nominees are also Oscar nominees, in addition to receiving honors at the Golden Globe Awards. Black Swan, The Fighter, The Kids Are All Right, The King’s Speech, and The Social Network are up for SAG’s Outstanding Performance By a Cast in a Motion Picture, while Mad Men and Boardwalk Empire lead in the television drama categories. Glee, The Office, 30 Rock, and Modern Family are a few big names in comedy.

The SAG Awards, the only televised award show to focus solely on performers, air live on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. Stay tuned to StarCam for additional coverage.
