Remember Britney Spears’ first husband, Jason Alexander? The childhood friend she foolishly married while in Vegas? Well, he is back for another fifteen minutes of fame. He recently sat down with Star Magazine to discuss his claims the singer confided to him that her current beau, Jason Trawick, is abusive and beats her.
The sister company RadarOnline.com has posted audio tapes thought to be of conversations between Spears and Alexander.
“Every aspect of the story published by Star Magazine is completely and utterly false and Star was informed of the falsity of this story before it was published.” reps for Spears said in a statement.
“The statements attributed to Jason Alexander are a complete fabrication as Britney has not had any form of communication with Mr. Alexander in years. The audio recording posted on Radaronline this morning purporting to be between Britney Spears and Jason Alexander is so obviously fake as to be laughable. Suffice it to say that Jason Trawick has never laid a hand on Britney.” The statement continued.
Team Britney has promised legal action against Alexander, Star Magazine and Radaronline.
In true Britney style, she told them exactly how she feels by tweeting “…Star Magazine, Radar Online, Jason Alexander and the rest of you liars, Ya’ll can kiss my lily white southern Louisana a**!”
Britney has been dating her current boyfriend and former agent Jason Trawick since 2009.
