The Los Angeles mansion featured in American Horror Story, known for hiding lots of ghosts in the basement, is up for sale. For $4.5 million, the six-bedroom, five-bathroom home could be all yours!

The house, also known as the Alfred F. Rosenheim Mansion, is three stories high and features a grand ballroom, which used to be a chapel, a formal dining room, six vintage tile fireplaces and a solarium overlooking a 30,000-square foot lot.

The pilot episode of AHS was shot inside the mansion, but they have been shooting on replica stages ever since. Either way, this home is not only the star of the show, but also where it all began! Despite the sentimental value, one star says he would never live there.

"I would never, ever want to live in that house," Evan Peters (who stars as Tate on the series) told PEOPLE last month. "It's old and creepy and the whole atmosphere there is really terrifying."

The Season 1 finale of American Horror Story airs on Dec. 21 and is supposed to be one very intense and spine-chilling episode! Ryan Murphy, creator of AHS, was even startled by it.

“I think the finale has, to me, the most shocking scene we’ve ever done,” said Murphy. “Every time I edit it, I literally have to cover my eyes. The finale really does have a couple shockers in it that I think people will love.”

Earlier this year, StarCam caught up with Dylan McDermott, known for his role as Ben Harmon on AHS, and got his opinion on why this show is so terrifying.  Check out the full interview below!
