Want to send Kim Kardashian a special gift for her wedding? The popular reality star and fiancé Kris Humphries are registered at Gearys, a luxury store in Beverly Hills, but be warned: the items on the registry will cost you.
Ms. Kardashian’s registry includes a $7,850 Baccarat vase, a $375 candy jar, an $840 ashtray, $670 presentation plates (the couple would like 18 for a total of $12,060), an $880 serving spoon, a $730 ice pail, a $925 pitcher and lots of other jaw-droppingly expensive goodies. See the full registry here.
"Kim goes big," sister Khloé Kardashian told People earlier this month. "And I joke and I say it will be like the Royal Wedding because she is just like that."
Are the items above a bit out of your price range? Don’t despair. Friends, family, and fans can also gift the future Mrs. Humphries with a $12.50 napkin, a $22.50 linen voile, and a $32.50 napkin ring.
"Kim wanted to have all types of items down to inexpensive little kitchen accessories," a source told People magazine.
Reactions to Kim Kardashian’s wedding registry are mixed with some calling the 30-year-old star selfish and self-absorbed and others jumping to her defense.
“HOW SAD....never knew anyone could be so selfish....,” one People reader commented. “Don’t they both have enough in their own places to combine and have what they need, surely she has about 100 vases already, 100 martini glasses.........morons!”
Other readers defended the reality TV star and her husband-to-be.
“It is their wedding and wedding registry,” said another commenter. “Let them register for what they like. It is their day. I wish them the best.”
