Eric Dapkewicz was pumped to hit the red carpet at the ACE Eddie Awards. He told StarCam's Jennifer Tapiero that it's so exciting to be with a group of people that he's spent most of his life idolizing. He was at the award show primarily for his work on
Puss in Boots and couldn't help but gush over what an amazing actor Antonio Banderas is.
"Antonio [Banderas] is such a great guy to work with," he said. "He's so passionate about the character that every time we would get in a recording studio with him he'd be in there with us… He was so awesome to work with and such a great and smart actor that he brings so much to the role. Even though it's all animated; it's all Antonio. It's like, without his voice, the character wouldn't work."
Not only does Eric have the opportunity to work with major celebrities like Antonio Banderas and Johnny Depp, but the editing aspect does a lot to make the movie more powerful and enjoyable for the audience. Without these guys, the movies would likely drag or even get repetitive.
"Well, I think what happens sometimes with editing is that films can feel a little long. You know, sometime the pacing might get a little off or sometimes information gets redundant, and audiences, after a little while, get impatient…that's where editing can sometimes come in."
