Rumors have been stirring about Zac Efron and Taylor Swift being more than friends, and Ellen Degeneres didn't hesitate to call them out when they were on her show earlier this week promoting their new animated movie, The Lorax. Not only did they get to the bottom of the rumor that has everyone talking, but they also did a special rendition of Foster the People's hit song, "Pumped up Kicks."

Despite the fact that they would make a beautifully adorable couple, Taylor and Zac could not emphasize any more that they are just friends. Taylor says she knows that stars end up dating after working together all the time, but usually not on animated movies! There isn't very much room for romancing when you're recording voice-overs on different coasts.

The stars talked about what they did for Valentine's Day and Taylor's victory at the Grammys but what proved to be the most pleasant surprise was the reminder that Zac Efron can sing! He's been in so many films since the High School Musical days that I was actually caught off guard when a fantastic voice came out of him. The duo told Ellen and the audience that Taylor had taught Zac a bit about playing guitar. Check out this awesome and customized version of Foster the People's "Pumped up Kicks."
