
AMC has opted for a new tack in their ongoing battle with DISH Network: they sent dozens of zombies into the streets of New York to draw attention to the fact that, if DISH and AMC don't settle soon, DISH subscribers won't be able to watch the show, which returns in October. But, don't worry. If the zombie stunt doesn't work, we have more ideas after the jump.

Snoop Dogg has announced that he is parting ways with his canine moniker. He has graduated to a far more majestic animal namesake, and will now be known as Snoop Lion. According to MySpace.com, a Rastafarian high priest gave him the new name, which he will use from now on. Snoop said that he has accomplished all that he wants to in rap, and will focus, from now on, on other ventures.
He's far from the only celebrity to go for a mid-career name change. Some other folks who pick new names after they were famous:

I have a confession: I don't like trailers. I walk out of the room when they come on at home, and I avoid them in the theaters. But, the new Skyfall trailer, released today, is as good an example of one as I've seen. Plenty of exciting imagery, enough of the story to get you intrigued without giving it all away, and, Q!!

Adam Irigoyen from Shake It Up! chats with StarCam's Jennifer Tapiero at the Teen Choice Awards After Party about the third season of his show and why his cast is the hardest working of all the Disney shows.
"We rehearse for three days and we film for two days," he says. "I feel like our cast especially, we're the hardest working cast because in all of Disney channel, we have the most kids under 18. We still have to do school so we have like two full-time jobs. It's insanity."
