Oren Peli, known for creating the Paranormal Activity films, is capitalizing on the genre once again as the producer of Chernobyl Diaries. He talks with StarCam at the film's premiere about how he came up with the idea and why he decided against the found footage format.
"It happened rather accidentally," Oren says about his first idea. "I was browsing the web one day and I found some websites of people who visited Prypiat, the city next to Chernobyl. They posted photos and they posted videos of their journeys and I didn't know there was this abandoned town next to Chernobyl where you can go and visit."

Olivia Dudley was super excited to be part of the Oren Peli movie Chernobyl Diaries. She talks to StarCam at the film's premiere about her character, her favorite scary movie, and the real fear she felt during filming.
"My character is Natalie and she's on vacation with her best friend and her boyfriend," she explains. "They're looking to have a good time and they definitely find it. They end up going on an extreme tour… and that's all I'm gonna say. You gotta see it!"
