Hailee Steinfeld has taken Hollywood by storm with her performance in True Grit. Yet she is still 14-years-old and gets starstruck just like the rest of us.

While she was on the Paramount lot for her True Grit audition, with the Coen Brothers, Hailee ran into Glee star Lea Michele.  She rushed to try to get Lea’s autograph and was denied.  Crushed, Steinfeld says, “I was practically crying on the way home. I was so sad!”

Michele was mortified after reading Steinfelds comments and reached out publicly to apoplogize.

“I heard Hailee was upset and I feel terrible. The Glee schedule is so jam-packed that that the PA probably pulled me so that I wouldn’t be late to set. I never meant to hurt her feelings. She’s an extraordinary talent and I look forward to meeting her one day,“ Michele told GossipCop.com.

A book penned by two-time Daytona 500 champion, Michael Waltrip, hits shelves tomorrow, and in it fans will see a side of the NASCAR driver they never knew existed. The new memoir, In the Blink of an Eye: Dale, Daytona, and the Day that Changed Everything, is the story of Waltrip’s journey to that fateful day in 2001 when Dale Earnhardt died protecting Waltrip’s lead in the Daytona 500, a race Waltrip ultimately won.

“Such an unbelievable win -- and seconds later, an unimaginable loss. That contradiction had me stumbling through a life I didn't want to be living, constantly reminded of a day I wanted desperately to forget," Waltrip writes.

While Earnhardt is a central figure in Waltrip’s book, In the Blink of an Eye also chronicles the Kentucky native's struggles and triumphs in becoming a NASCAR driver. Michael’s older brother, Darrell, was also a professional driver, but not particularly interested in lending his sibling a helping hand, and it was up to the younger Waltrip to work his way to the top of the sport. He ultimately does, and with the help of Earnhardt overcomes a stubborn losing streak to win the Daytona 500 not once, but twice. Waltrip is one of only eight drivers to win the champion race more than once.
