Jack Jordan, who was convicted of stalking Uma Thurman in 2008 and threatening to kill himself if she dated another man, was arrested at his home last week.

Jordan allegedly violated a restraining order by calling Uma’s office and her cell phone, according to the New York Post. 

Police say when they arrived at Jordan’s home, he was googling Uma’s name.

In June 2008, Jack Jordan was ordered to stay away from Uma Thurman for five years, and was given three years’ probation.  The judge also ordered Jordan to get outpatient treatment.

Helen Mirren has partnered with Nintendo’s and will appear in the Christmas Ad Campaign for the Wii Fit. Nintendo was adamant that she be their spokesperson this holiday season. At 65, Mirren fits the profile for the target audience they are going after. She is vibrant and active.

The Wii is the first motion based game console and is currently competing with Microsoft’s Kinect console for market share. The Kinect is listed as one of the hot gifts for the 2010 season. That kind of competition is a bit stiff and it will take a well known name to help sell the Wii this year.

Last week People Magazine named Ryan Reynolds 2010's Sexiest Man Alive and today a British website, Flecking Records, has named Adam Lambert the Sexiest Male Celebrity of 2010.

The website polled their readers and asked who they thought was the sexiest celebrity of the year.  Adam Lambert, yes, Adam Lambert won.  Who would have guessed that?

Adam is the first openly gay mainstream pop artist with a career on a major label.  Some may say Elton John, Boy George or maybe even Freddie Mercury deserve that claim. However Adam is the first to truly flaunt his sexuality on stage.

Bright Eyes will release its 7th album, The People’s Key, on February 15, 2011.  The record will be released by Saddle Creek Records.

Recorded in Omaha, Nebraska, at ARC Studios, The People’s Key was produced by Mike Mogis and engineered by Mogis and Andy Lemaster.

In support of the new album, Bright Eyes has also announced two concerts next year: The first is at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.  This show will be on March 9, 2011, and will have special guests Superchunk and Wild Flag.

Despite battling cancer, actor Michael Douglas is still looking forward to working.  In a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter Douglas acknowledged playing the lead role in Steven Soderbergh’s Liberace.  Filming for the movie will begin in May or June. 

The 66-year-old actor has been battling throat cancer since August and has said that he would find out in January if the doctors have eliminated it.  He is expected to make a full recovery. 

It seems that illnesses bring family closer.  Such is the case with Michael and his father, actor, Kirk Douglas.  Michael says they have grown closer since his diagnosis. “He was back here for almost 10 days. He came over every day.  He was great.”
