Mark Ronson "Record Collection"

From the hyper opener “Bang Bang Bang”, you can feel the energy in multi-instrumentalist/producer/DJ Mark Ronson’s latest electro-laden set, “Record Collection”.

I am not well-versed in Ronson’s work as an artist, but “Record Collection” comes across as a fun-loving, club-thumping, high-octane mix of sticky tunes. The songs are light and fun.

The first single, “Bang Bang Bang,” features Q-Tip and MNDR and sets the tone of the record beautifully with a kicking drum beat and flowing verses.

Lady Gaga and Cher at MTV VMAs

When Lady Gaga asked Cher to hold her meat purse while she accepted the Video of the Year award at the MTV VMAs, they became more than BFFs; they are practically family. "They are now like mother and daughter", author Mark Bego told The National Enquirer.

Since the stars have so much in common, it's no surprise that they've formed a familial bond. "They both take their outlandish fashion sense dead seriously, both have a sense of humour about themselves, and they are both staunch gay rights activists," said Bego.

An Enquirer insider reports that the pop divas are already planning a performance together, as well as recording a duet.

Calling all literature buffs! Nicole Polizzi, aka Snooki, of MTV's wildly popular reality show "The Jersey Shore," will release her very own novel as early as next January.

According to a press release issued by Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, the novel is tentatively titled "A Shore Thing," (so clever) and will follow "a girl looking for love on the boardwalk (one full of big hair, dark tans and fights galore)." Though the premise sounds awfully familiar, "A Shore Thing" is supposed to be a work of fiction. No celebrity memoir here.

In a statement, Snooki said: "I'm pumped to announce to my fans a project that I've been working on for some time. This book will have you falling in love at the shore. It's 'A Shore Thing!'"

Will you be reading Snooki's book?
